HB267 Referendum Kickoff on Sat. March 15!

This is our moment. On Saturday, the Protect Utah Workers coalition officially launch HB 267 referendum to restore our collective bargaining rights!  It will kick off a major statewide volunteer signature-gathering effort from Logan to St. George.

This is more than just a petition drive. It is a movement to restore the rights of Utah’s public workers and put the power back in the hands of voters.

Every Utahn deserves to have their voice heard; this launch ensures they have that opportunity. This high-energy, highly visible event will set the stage for our success, building momentum, enthusiasm, and public awareness. It’s a rallying moment for all of us to come together, feel the strength of solidarity and take immediate action.

Main Launch Event – Saturday, March 15

  • Location: Utah Education Association Headquarters, 887 E. Pontiac Dr., Murray, UT

  • Press Conference: 10:30 a.m.

This Pack the Parking Lot Press Event will send a loud and clear message: We will not stand by while workers’ rights are stripped away. The press conference will feature union members across public sectors impacted by HB 267, speaking out about why this referendum is critical. If you’re in the area, we strongly encourage you to attend at 10:30 a.m.

Also on Saturday, launch events across the state will be mobilizing volunteers, collecting signatures, and ensuring that every Utahn has the chance to take action. Volunteers will receive clear instructions on where to go and how to participate, making it easy to join this fight no matter where you are.
